Information We Collect

Visitors can browse The Chap App without creating an account. Your selected department is stored only in your own browser.

When you submit a prayer request, a meeting request, or peer support interest, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address and message.

Chaplains who create an account provide their name, email, department and any content they choose to publish.

How We Use Your Information

Information you submit is delivered only to the chaplain serving the department you selected, so they can respond and follow up with you.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with advertisers or other third parties.

Confidentiality

Requests are visible only to your department's chaplain and site administrators. Chaplains are expected to treat what you share with care and discretion. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911.

Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. No online service can guarantee complete security.

Your Choices

You may ask your chaplain to delete a request you submitted. Chaplains may update or delete their account information at any time.
